How Utsav Garden Replaced a Slow WordPress Site With a Conversion-First Next.js Website

Garhwa's largest marriage garden was running on an ageing, slow WordPress site that didn't match the venue. Global Info Edge rebuilt it from the ground up on Next.js — a fast, mobile-first, fully SEO-ready website architected around the buyer's journey (TOFU → MOFU → BOFU), turning wedding searches into venue visits and booked dates.

The client & the challenge

Utsav Garden (APSD Utsav Garden), founded by Anil Soni in 2020, is Garhwa's largest marriage garden — 25,000 sq ft of lawn, AC banquet halls, luxury rooms, dining and parking for up to 1,200 guests. But its online presence was an ageing WordPress site that didn't match the quality of the venue:

A slow, dated WordPress site

Heavy plugins and unoptimised images made it sluggish on phones — where almost every wedding search in Garhwa happens — costing trust and search rankings.

Not built for the buyer's journey

The old site was a flat brochure. It didn't guide a family from 'just looking' to 'ready to book' — no funnel, no clear next step at each stage.

Hard to find, hard to trust

Thin content and weak structure meant it barely surfaced for 'marriage garden in Garhwa' and gave Google and AI search engines little to recommend.

Painful to update & maintain

Every change meant wrestling with WordPress plugins and updates — slow, fragile and a constant security risk.

What we delivered

1 · The new website — rebuilt on Next.js

Built around the buyer's journey — TOFU → MOFU → BOFU

The redesign wasn't just prettier — it was structured so every page does a job at the right stage of a family's decision:

TOFU — get discovered

The Utsav Guide blog, photo gallery, virtual tour and share-friendly space pages pull in families who are just starting to research a venue on Google and AI search.

MOFU — win the comparison

Space details, transparent packages, the rate card, services, FAQ and 4.4★ reviews give families every reason to shortlist Utsav Garden over other halls.

BOFU — convert to a booking

The live availability calendar, online booking request and plan-a-visit forms remove friction at the exact moment a family is ready to commit.

Why Next.js, not WordPress

Rebuilding on a modern stack fixed the old site's biggest weaknesses:

Fast on phones

Statically-rendered Next.js pages and optimised WebP images load near-instantly on mobile — where Garhwa's wedding searches happen — improving both experience and Google rankings.

Built to be found (SEO + GEO)

Clean structure, structured data and real content across 26+ pages help the venue rank for “marriage garden in Garhwa” and get recommended by AI answer engines.

Secure & low-maintenance

No fragile plugin stack to patch — a modern, managed build that stays fast and secure with far less upkeep than the old WordPress site.

Easy to grow

New spaces, packages, guides and tools slot in cleanly, so the website keeps pace with the business instead of holding it back.

Behind the scenes

The owner's admin & booking dashboard

We didn't just rebuild the public website — we also built Anil Soni a private admin panel so the venue runs from one login: every enquiry, booking, payment, calendar date and even the website's own content, in one place. (Customer phone numbers below are masked for privacy.) Swipe through the dashboard:

One dashboard, the whole venue

From that single login, Anil Soni and his team can:

See the whole business

A live dashboard and reports — bookings, revenue, dues, occupancy, lead sources and a booking funnel.

Never lose a lead

A pipeline board with one-tap Call/WhatsApp moves every enquiry from first contact to confirmed booking.

Handle bookings & money

Bookings, token/advance payments, receipts and GST tax invoices — with follow-up reminders.

Own their content

Packages, gallery, FAQs, testimonials and blog posts are all owner-editable and publish straight to the site.

Automate the busywork

WhatsApp auto-messages on enquiry, confirmation, payment and a day-before reminder keep families updated automatically.

Connect everything

Razorpay, SMS/OTP and WhatsApp integrations, plus a calendar synced with the public availability checker.

Turning local discovery into booked dates

Most Garhwa families find a venue on Google first. The new website is built to convert that discovery — the availability calendar, booking and plan-a-visit forms give every visitor a clear next step, whether they arrive from Google Search, Maps or the venue's Business Profile.

Why it worked

A marriage garden is a high-consideration, locally-driven purchase — families research for weeks and decide together. A flat WordPress brochure couldn't carry that journey. The new Next.js site meets families at every stage: it attracts them with content and visuals, convinces them with transparent spaces and pricing, and converts them with real-time availability and one-tap booking.

The result is a fast, modern website that reflects the quality of the venue itself — and quietly does the selling, turning Garhwa's wedding searches into venue visits and booked dates.
